At first, it seemed like a distant dream. Accessing authentic matcha requires not only desire, but also time, patience, and proximity to the land and the people who have carried this craft for generations.

I am Mariam, an architect whose passion for beauty, details, and authenticity led me to Japan. There, I began to deeply explore the world of matcha: from the serene fields to the cultivation methods, to the hands of the producers who meticulously care for every tea leaf with exceptional precision.

My journey in Japan took over a year and a half of research, visits, correspondence, and waiting.

Gaining access to the farms was not easy; many producers do not accept new clients due to high demand for matcha and the scarcity of available premium quantities. I faced many rejections, but I did not give up, because I was not just looking for a product, but for authentic matcha, with a known source, that embodies the spirit of the place and the integrity of the craft.

This is how Mimatcha was born, to offer the Arab world a luxurious and transparent Japanese matcha experience, from farms we trust, and from relationships built with patience, respect, and perseverance.
